Tim Captain

Named New Head Coach of Cross Country

CINCINNATI, OH - CCU athletic director Jeremy Jones is pleased to announce the hiring of Tim Captain as the new head coach of cross country.  Captain is no stranger to CCU Cross Country as he was a vital member of the 2008 CCU team that finished as NCCAA National Runner-Up.  Tim also played a vital role in the initial formation of the Cross Country program back in 2006.  Before coming to CCU, Captain was a standout runner at Eaton High School in Eaton, Ohio.  Captain received the OHSAA Academic All-Ohio Award in 2004 and was also the team captain.  Under his leadership, his squad finished in 9th place at the OHSAA Division II state finals.

"I am looking forward to returning to the CCU Cross Country program as head coach," said Tim Captain.  "We will have a great group to work with this fall and we look forward to returning to the NCCAA National Championships for the third consecutive year.  Our men's program will look to improve on our 2008 National Runner-Up finish as we set our sights on bringing home the championship this year."
